Drying times can be found on the label of the can and in the technical data sheet for the relevant product. Drying times vary depending on the ambient temperature, atmospheric humidity and thickness of the coat being applied. Our drying time data relates to ideal conditions (atmospheric humidity 20°C, relative humidity 50%). Dust-dry: the paint layer is sufficiently dry that airborne dust particles won't adhere to it. Touch-dry: the paint is not yet completely hardened or resistant to stresses, but you can touch it lightly. Ready to recoat: the paint can be sanded down and recoated. Completely dry: the paint has reached its maximum hardness.
