Our permanent sprays contain acrylic paint for spraying. It adheres permanently to most surfaces both indoors and out. Once dry, the colour won’t rub off. If the shelf has already been painted, here’s an important tip: ready-painted surfaces must always be sanded and primed in order to gain maximum adhesion properties. Another tip is not to apply edding permanent spray on top of synthetic resin paint. This would cause the paint to “lift”. If necessary, use our universal primer and seal it with clear lacquer to give long-lasting protection. It’s best to test this on an inconspicuous area first.
