The edding X multi marker is designed to be incredibly versatile, working on almost all surfaces. Its paint is water-soluble and mixable until dried up. Afterwards it stays permanent on the surface and cannot be dissolved with water again, which is a typical characteristic of pigmented ink. However, due to the vast variety of materials out there, it doesn’t perform equally well on every single one. For instance, it’s optimised for rough surfaces like skateboards, backpacks, denim jackets, and sneakers, where it delivers excellent results. On smoother surfaces, while it still works, the results might not last as long. To improve your artwork remains scratch-resistant on these smooth surfaces, we recommend using our edding 5200 Permanent Spray Clear Lacquer.
